Product fit: will it fit, and is there room for servicing

A boiler, a fridge, a 19″ rack — in 3D and life-size AR together with the clearances required by the manufacturer or a norm. Every zone has a source: a page of the instructions with a quote, or a clause of a Ukrainian building norm (DBN).

What AR in the browser can and cannot do

Can

Place the model at 1:1 on the floor or on a wall (boilers, panels) — the scale is locked.
Show service zones as semi-transparent boxes.
A separate file for each state: closed and in operation (door open, cover removed).
A ruler in 10 cm bands and a yellow ±20 mm tolerance frame — for a visual check.
On the table 1:10 — to turn it in your hands.

Cannot

Switch states inside AR (neither Quick Look on iPhone nor Scene Viewer on Android) — hence several buttons.
Anchor to the A4 sheet or the QR code: the QR code only opens the page.
Measure on iPhone without an app. Chrome on Android has Measure (WebXR) — not yet tested on a real phone.
Guarantee an installer's accuracy.

Accuracy. Estimated fit: ±2–5 cm (±1–2 cm with LiDAR); the model may drift by 5–25 cm if you walk away. Before installation use a tape measure and the manufacturer's instructions.

Where the zones come from

Manufacturer — the installation instructions of the specific model: page and quote in the zone card.
Norm — DBN and other mandatory norms from the rules database (clause, page, quote). If the norm is stricter than the instructions, the norm is shown and the instructions stay in the card.
Recommendation — practice (NKBA, guides); estimate — no document, shown in grey.

Numbers are taken from the documents named in the cards; document editions as of the date in the card. Quotes of Ukrainian norms are translations. This is not a design: the installer is responsible for the installation.
